Serene Care World was founded by a group of health professionals with extensive disability mental health and management experience within government and non-government organisations in NSW. With a combined experience of 38 years in the disability and mental health sector, we understand the complexities present in these areas, but more importantly the possibilities and opportunities exist in providing meaningful person-centred care. We believe our strength lies in our ability to understand our consumer’s carers and our staff on a personal level.
We recognise the language and cultural barriers, stigma, social isolation, and intersectionality challenges faced by CALD communities. With extensive experience in working with these communities, we provide culturally sensitive support to individuals with disabilities. Our team includes bilingual and bicultural staff who understand the unique needs of CALD communities.
