Community access and respite may be funded through NDIS core supports or aged care programs that support carers and social participation.

NDIS funding depends on your plan and whether the support is reasonable and necessary for your disability-related needs. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can often use registered or unregistered providers; NDIA-managed plans generally require NDIS-registered providers.
