Funding and how to pay
Home support services are commonly funded through NDIS core supports (daily living and household tasks) and aged care programs including Support at Home and CHSP.
NDIS funding depends on your plan and whether the support is reasonable and necessary for your disability-related needs. Self-managed and plan-managed participants can often use registered or unregistered providers; NDIA-managed plans generally require NDIS-registered providers.
Aged care supports may be available through Support at Home or the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) for eligible clients. An assessment through My Aged Care determines what you can access.
